I have a lot of cards, and throughout the years of collecting, I always organized my cards in various and different ways. I once had them in alphabetical order. I had them organized by team. However the one thing that I never did was, see just how many complete base sets could come from all my 5000 count baseball boxes. So I started sorting through the boxes and getting all the brands together, Leaf, Fleer, Donruss, Bowman, Topps, and Upper Deck. Once I made progress there to have the majority of my collection sorted by brand. The focus shifted sorting the cards into years. Then sorted for the numerical order required to build the sets. As you can see, I have some number checklist, with a small summary, that I hope to update for incomplete sets. I have started with the brand with smallest card count. Leaf is first up and I have not been able to have one full set. I have a lot of doubles but no full set. So this set building idea might kick me in the rear. The main focus of the set build for the beginning will be the years 1989 thru 1993. These are the biggest bulk of the cards, where 1994 and so on I know the set will be incomplete. That would also include Topps. All other years and sets will go receive more focus after these are completed.
